A Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace

This article is really interesting it’s trying to be like a replica of the original Declaration of Independence but for the internet. It was created due to new rules and acts trying to be passed on the internet and all things internet. Telecommunications Reform Act was a prime example of what this article points at, as it was an Act that impacted the Cyberspace by changing the way of companies. This article attacks the new methods and issues this Act would introduce to the cyberspace. That the Cyberspace doesn’t need the boundaries and rules a normal government needs. That there aren’t the same rules and need for governmental ideas. It believes that access to this Cyberspace is not excluding anyone by any means. I think this article is very well worded in what idea it was presenting. I think the way it tied in the history of the Declaration of Independence and the issues of this new act was well thought out.
